The SMT1.3 is specifically designed as a streamer and digital transport, eliminating internal conversions to deliver a pure digital signal to your external DAC. Thanks to its dedicated upsampling system and FPGA-assisted I2S output, it ensures optimum compatibility with a wide range of digital-to-analog converters, offering bit-perfect data transmission.
Shanling SMT1.3: Modern system developed in-house
Equipped with a 64-bit Rockchip ARM Cortex processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, the SMT1.3 runs on a deeply customized Android 12 system. This streamlined user interface facilitates access to menus, settings and playback controls, offering fluid navigation via the 5.8-inch Full HD touchscreen, or via the Eddict Controller app available on iOS and Android.

The new user interface focuses on a simpler, faster experience for accessing all the device's functions, with an optimized main menu, settings and playback controls. The reduction in the number of items displayed simultaneously and clearer headings offer a smoother, more fluid user experience.
The main menu provides immediate access and control of music playback, as well as direct access to your music library and streaming services.
Shanling SMT1.3: Extended compatibility with streaming services
The SMT1.3 natively supports streaming applications such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, Apple Classical, Amazon Music, Presto Music and KKBox. It is also compatible with NAS, Samba (SMB), DLNA and AirPlay 2 protocols, enabling easy integration into a variety of streaming environments. What's more, support for AGLO technology via DLNA and AirPlay 2 enables precise, lossless audio playback.
Shanling SMT1.3: Advanced connectivity
Featuring dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4G / 5G) and Bluetooth 5.2 supporting LDAC and aptX HD codecs, the SMT1.3 ensures fast, stable wireless connectivity. A dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port is also available for a reliable wired connection. What's more, it features an internal M.2 slot for SSD (SSD sold separately), to increase its storage capacity, as well as two USB ports for connecting external storage devices up to 2TB.

Shanling SMT1.3: XMOS XU316 USB interface & Accusilicon clocks
Ready for high-resolution audio playback, the SMT1.3 is equipped with an XMOS XU316 interface for its USB input, and uses two Accusilicon clocks for minimized jitter and incredible sonic accuracy.
Shanling SMT1.3: CT7302CL upsampling chip
With a dedicated upsampling system based on a CT7302CL chip, the SMT1.3 can be configured for perfect matching with an external DAC, enhancing all types of audio files.
