About batteries:
Emergency Power Supply Only: The USB interface is intended to provide temporary power to the lock in case the internal batteries are dead. This allows you to operate the lock long enough to unlock the door and access the battery compartment.
No Charging Functionality: The USB interface does not recharge the internal batteries or any other components of the lock. It only supplies power for immediate use.
Battery Replacement: If the internal batteries are depleted, you'll need to use the USB power to unlock the door, then open the lock to replace the dead batteries with fresh ones.
