Adult bedbugs are brown to reddish-brown, measuring 4–5 mm with a flat, oval-shaped body. Because they lack wings, they hide in:
- Bedding: Mattress seams, bed frames, and headboards.
- Furniture: Sofa joints and upholstery.
- Room Fixtures: Curtain folds, wall crevices, and behind electrical outlets.
Bites: Typically cause itchy, red swellings. Reactions vary from mild irritation to severe allergic blistering.
