Nippon Paint Spot-less Plus Sheen is a premium water-based interior paint that transforms your walls into a protective shield. Formulated with breakthrough Silver Ion Technology, it is scientifically proven to be 99.9% effective against harmful viruses and bacteria (including SARS-CoV-2, HFMD, and H1N1), making it the ideal choice for nurseries, children’s bedrooms, and healthcare facilities.

Technical Data

• Drying Time (Touch Dry): 30 minutes (dependent on temperature and humidity).

• Drying Time (Hard Dry): 1 hour (dependent on temperature and humidity).

• Recoating Time: Minimum 2 hours.

• Theoretical Coverage: 10 – 12 m² per litre per coat (varies by substrate porosity).

• Dry Film Thickness: Approximately 30 μm per coat.

• Volume Solid: ~36%.

• Shelf Life: Up to 36 months in a tightly sealed container.

Application Instructions

• Application Method: Brush, Roller, or Spray.

• Thinning: Dilute with a maximum of 5% water if necessary (undiluted is preferred for maximum stain resistance).

• Cleaning: Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Recommended Coating System

1. Sealer/Primer (1 Coat): 8200 Premium Interior Sealer (for a smooth, high-build base) or 5200 Interior Sealer.

2. Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Paint Spot-less Plus (Sheen).

Surface Preparation

• Condition: Surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or loose flaky paint.

• Moisture/Alkalinity: Ensure wall moisture content is below 16% and alkalinity is below pH 9.

• Repair: For cracks or holes, use a suitable filler like EasySKIM 5000 and sand smooth before priming.

• Certifications: Awarded "Sensitive Choice" by the National Asthma Council Australia for being asthma and allergy-friendly.
