Product Overview

Nippon Paint Vinilex Fresh Plus is a premium water-based interior paint specifically engineered to enhance indoor safety and hygiene. Infused with advanced Silver Ion Technology, it is clinically proven to neutralize 99.9% of harmful viruses and bacteria (including SARS-CoV-2, E. coli, and MRSA) on painted surfaces.

Beyond surface protection, this paint features AirGuard Technology, which purifies indoor air by actively absorbing and neutralizing airborne formaldehyde. With its smooth luxurious matt finish, it provides a sophisticated, non-reflective aesthetic that effectively hides minor wall imperfections. It is an eco-friendly, low-VOC, and low-odour formula, making it the perfect "wellness paint" for homes, schools, and healthcare environments.

Technical Data

• Drying Time (Touch Dry): 30 minutes (dependent on temperature and humidity).

• Drying Time (Hard Dry): 1 hour (dependent on temperature and humidity).

• Recoating Time: Minimum 2 hours.

• Theoretical Coverage: 9 – 11 m² per litre per coat (actual coverage depends on surface condition).

• Dry Film Thickness: Approximately 30 μm per coat.

• Volume Solid: ~35%.

• Shelf Life: Up to 36 months in a tightly sealed container.

Application Instructions

• Application Method: Brush or Roller.

• Thinning: Dilute with a maximum of 5% water if necessary (undiluted is preferred for best anti-viral and air-purifying performance).

• Cleaning: Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Recommended Coating System

1. Sealer/Primer (1 Coat): 8200 Premium Interior Sealer / 5200 Interior Sealer / Acrylic 5170 Wall Sealer.

   • Note: Use Hi-Bond Wall Sealer for powdery or skim-coated surfaces.

2. Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Paint Vinilex Fresh Plus.

Surface Preparation

• Condition: Surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or loose flaky paint.

• Moisture/Alkalinity: Ensure wall moisture content is below 16% and alkalinity is below pH 9.

• Repair: Fill cracks or holes with a suitable filler like EasySKIM 5000 before priming.

• Certifications: Meets MS 903:1984, SIRIM Eco-Label, and Singapore Green Label standards.
