PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SikaShield® P24 S 3 mm is a high-performance APP modified bituminous waterproofing membrane reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric and finished with a sand surfaced top layer. Designed for torch-applied installation, it provides a durable, fully bonded waterproofing system for roofs, balconies, basements, wet areas, podium decks, and below-ground concrete structures. The sand finish creates excellent adhesion for screeds, tiles, or additional waterproofing layers, making it an ideal base sheet in multi-layer waterproofing systems.

Manufactured with premium APP modified bitumen, SikaShield® P24 S 3 mm offers excellent waterproofing performance, strong mechanical strength, and long-term durability. Its flexible formulation allows it to accommodate normal structural movement while maintaining a reliable waterproof barrier. The underside is protected with a burn-off polyethylene film for quick and efficient torch-on application, ensuring secure adhesion to prepared concrete and compatible substrates.

Ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects, SikaShield® P24 S 3 mm is widely used beneath protective finishes such as tiles, screeds, ballast, and gravel. It is suitable for waterproofing flat roofs, sloping roofs, wet areas, balconies, terraces, car park decks, basements, foundations, retaining walls, and podium slabs. As it has a sand-finished surface, it is not intended for permanent UV exposure and should be covered with a suitable protective layer.
